You are a startup or a Small and Medium Size company and you have an interesting project to propose to a student during the next school year ? You do not have the time to welcome a student nor the needed technical or supporting resources to ensure the students get the best benefits from their internship in your company ?
The project « Trainees for SME & Startups » is for you !
Over the past two years, the MIC has welcomed about 12 students during different internships. Between January and May 2012, The MIC has the project to welcome again about 40 students in different cities of Wallonia : Liège, Namur, Charleroi, Mons and Tournai.
To ensure your project turns their internship into a success for both your company and the students, the MIC will work as a facilitator :
- To promote your project offers to schools and students,
- To provide to the students a set of logistical, human and technical facilities : a flexible workspace (possibly in different offices in Wallonia), an individual HP PC for each student, a full access to all software from Microsoft as well as online support… but even more importantly :
- specific trainings in project management and development methodology provided by senior IT professional selected by the MIC
- and 1,5 days/week of personalized coaching in development, .NET and project methodology to ensure your project is under control and managed in a (nearly) professional way.
Interested in proposing a project for a student to do its intership in you company between January and May 2012?
Information sessions will be organized for the students in Septembre, where your projects will be proposed to them
